Shipping and Handling
HomeQ uses reputable national couriers to deliver our products to your door. Upon receipt of your payment, all in-stock items will be shipped within two business days unless otherwise specified on our website - see paragraph below.
Where dispatch date is provided for a particular product, this is an estimate only. HomeQ does not hold any responsibility for events that may occur resulting in a delayed dispatch date. Refunds or discounts for significant delays will be granted solely at the discretion of management. Custom-made orders can sometimes be subject due to delays due to quailty control, delayed shipments and customs issues.
All deliveries are kerbside only. For heavy or bulky items you will need to help carry the furniture. For special delivery needs please contact us for a quotation.
Delivery time depends on your specific location. A notification email will be provided to you with full details of the delivery, including arrival time, courier contact details and consignment note number.
All deliveries will take place during normal business hours Monday to Friday (9.00am - 5.00pm). If you are not usually home during business hours, or are unable to accept delivery we suggest:
- You have the item delivered directly to your place of work, or to a trusted neighbour/relative.
- Provide special instructions when ordering for a safe delivery place at your home.
- Contact us to arrange an alternative delivery time at email@example.com
- Please note: HomeQ cannot accept responsibility for lost or missing goods
All furniture carries at least a twelve (12) month warranty against core defects in production or materials. Certain items also come with a twenty-four (24), thirty-six (36), or sixty (60) month warranty against core defects. The warranty is valid in Australia only, and is non-transferrable. When returning faulty goods, items must be returned in original packaging.
Payment Methods Accepted & Payment Policy
We accept payment by credit cards issued by Visa and Mastercard. We also accept direct deposit and PayPal. It is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure all details are correct at time of transaction. All payments are final and no refunds will be made after transaction has been processed.
In circumstance of special order items (i.e. products not listed as standard stock on our website) there will be no refunds or exchanges. All deposits taken on special orders are non-refundable.
Initiating a chargeback with your bank will result in a $200 fee + $60/hr of administration time being billed to you.
Return of Items
In the circumstance where you are not satisfied with the quality or condition of our product, you may return the item(s) within fourteen (14) days for a full refund of the purchase price less shipping cost - no questions asked. Item must not be damaged and in original condition and must be returned in original packaging.
Upon receipt of the item, a refund will be issued within seven (7) business days.
The item(s) must be returned in their original packaging, in an unmarked and unused condition, unassembled to our warehouse.
Returns for lighting are not accepted.
Note: custom made orders, pre-order deals, and lighting products are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled once the order is placed.
Product Availability, Pricing & Information
Caution is taken to ensure that all items displayed on our website (www.homeq.com.au) are either in stock or available to custom order, and are sold at the prices shown. We reserve the right to correct any errors that may be made by us in publishing these prices and availability. HomeQ will not be held liable for any potential colour variation that may arise in comparison to images shown on our website. All images displayed are of actual product sold and all attempts are made to display a true likeness of product(s).
Disclaimer of Liability
In no event shall HomeQ be liable for special, indirect, exemplary, or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever, including but not limited to, loss of use, data, or profits, without regard to the form of any action, including but not limited to contract, negligence, or other tortious actions, all arising out of or in connection with the use, copying, or display of the contents of this site.
In accordance with its obligations under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (“Act”) amd to the extent permitted by law, HomeQ:
- limits its obligations and liability for the repair, replacement or refund of the purchase price of any goods to its obligations under the Act;
- is not liable for any contingent, consequential or punitive damages arising in way whatsoever in relation to the use of any goods; and
- is not liable for any claim, loss or expense incurred by any person resulting from the delivery, non-delivery or return of any goods.
Jurisdiction of disputes
You submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
You agree not to seek to stay or terminate any proceedings brought in New South Wales on the grounds that the forum is not convenient or is less appropriate than some other forum.
You agree not to challenge any application made by us to stay any proceedings brought in any other jurisdiction.
